Challenges to the design team including fault line running through the middle of the site, and creating new kind of breathing curtain wall system without overing the budget. In addiction to that, two canteens can obtain 3,000 people without making a huge visual impact on the campus. Sorting out campus circulations, which will accomodating 10,000 staffs eventually. Hangzhou Xiaoshan Government
2008
Hangzhou, Xiaoshan Government. The design of the building gives an different approach, which creates multiple inner court yards that will connect different sectors of buildings. The philosophy of the design came with the traditional suzhou garden that buildings are scattering in a big garden, small paths and designed landscape linked the building elements together. Let the users experience the architecture while experience the landscape at the same time. Copyrights to BAU.
Shaoxing, naked Spring Resort
2016
Shaoxing, naked Spring Hotel & Resorts. With 190 rooms, naked Spring is a luxury resort project that pulg the architecture into the wild. The resort hotel locates itself near by an ancient resvervior. Guests here can experiece their own private journey, and enjoy the serenity of the surrounding. At the same time, the hotel will provide different dimensions of entertainments that will bring the guests back to the time, moreover, the cascading pools and mirror villas will also let the guests experience the edgy taste of contemporary design.
